Childbirth Education Prep

We are PLEASED to offer Solace Health and Wellness’ own childbirth education and prep courses! Led by Erin, our director and experienced midwife, she brings you her wealth of knowledge and experience (as well as her own unique brand of humor!) as you embark on a very exciting time in your life! This experience is fully customizable.

Choose from group or private sessions either at Solace or virtual. OR! Design your own course by choosing a combination of any of our six classes! This option is perfect for those who may just need a refresher or are looking to expand on previous courses. Cost per session is for you and one support person.

Infant Feeding

Once your baby arrives, we invite you to meet with BreAnn Nelson, our resident infant feeding expert and advocate! Bree is here and ready to help you perfect baby’s latch, boost your supply, find the best positioning, or become a bottle prep expert. We understand that wanting to breastfeed is only part of the formula for success.

Support can help make this transition easier and set you up for long term success. You can schedule a one on one consultation with Bree to discuss your struggles and success and create a plan that works for you and your baby.

There are many benefits associated with breastfeeding as babies that are breastfed have a lower risk of asthma, obesity, type 1 diabetes, and sudden infant death syndrome (cdc.gov). Breastfeeding also reduces the risk of breast and ovarian cancer, type 2 diabetes, and high blood pressure for the person that is breastfeeding (cdc.gov).

There is a woman at the beginning of all great things.
