Solace Health and Wellness runs on the love and support of the community, but we all know that landlords and utility companies don’t accept that type of currency. If you really love and believe in what we’re doing, your support can help make a big impact.

Clothing Donations
Whether it is spring cleaning time, or the kids just went ahead and outgrew everything they had, Frida’s Boutique takes donations at any time. Our only requirements are that the clothing not have stains or holes and that they are in good condition.

Menstrual Justice
Our menstrual justice program gathers donations of period products and distributes them for free around the community. This program also aims to equip young people with knowledge surrounding menstruation, and is a great way for them to get involved in social change at a young age as oftentimes our donations come from drives started by young people in the community.
Affirming Health Care Plan
In 2022, Solace was fortunate to be able to collaborate with a local, grassroots coalition of members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies called NW Ohio LGBTQ+ Coalition. Together with the coalition and Equality Toledo, we presented a plan to Toledo City Council that we believe will help improve access to quality health and mental health care for LGBTQ+ citizens in Toledo.
There is no such thing as a single-issue struggle, because we do not live single-issue lives.
